Another Country is a project that RK Studio collaborated on with e.g. projects. The project was designed as a modern cocktail bar where patrons can meet to enjoy delicious bites, and great music. The space is warm, casual, bold, and joyful.

The design embraces low ceiling heights with a dark color palette and mellow lighting. The bar acts as a bright focal point displaying records, bottles, and glassware.

We chose materials and upholstery to add texture and warmth: figured cork, solid white oak, travertine countertops, and tufted banquettes. The floor plan creates pockets of space with a relaxed lounge feeling. “On the table, there sits a rose, through every window, a little light flows.”
